Does anybody knows cream dachshund in Europe?
In Russia RKF prohibit this color in dachshunds and doesnt recognize theirs. So russian creams go to UCI. What about your countries?

I think the same in Czech republic. I know one cream longhaired mini female, she lives in my town and the owner tried to show her, but she didn't get better classification than very good or good. And I doubt she can get into breeding, definitely not as a cream coloured one, she may be classified as a very clear red, but this doesn't solve the problem, her puppies will never have a colour "cream" in their pedigrees. That's her, she was imported from USA - Countrylov’n Roxy the Cream Dream: And another special coloured female was imported by the same owner from Japan - Beat Jp’s Chocolate Princess - she is in brown colour with a cream tan. Unfortunatelly I don't have any pic of her, but I remember she was classified good.

Japan kennel club(FCI) registers the cream color. Of course, the cream color is admitted in Japan. Since 2000, miniature long became popular very much in Japan. An expensive champion and dogs of the unusual color were imported from the United States, Britain, and Australia to Japan. Of course, wonderful dogs were imported to Japan. For instance, some descendants of famous cream color England Champion are in Japan now. Miniature long of a lot of cream colors can be seen in Japan. The cream color seen white can be seen in Japan. The nose, pat, and such dog's fingernail are white. Color breeding should take care enough. Parents dog's color matches neither the cream color nor the chocolate to a serious breeder in Japan. As for the color gene, they are very nervous!! Because there were dogs that had the problem by the color in the past. The exhibition of the cream color dog is few in the dog show in Japan now. Japan Kennel club accepts the registration of all the colors. But, attention is described in the dog's pedigree certificate for the color not admitted with breed standard dog about breeding. Of course, those color dogs are not admitted in the dog show either. Yukiko of M.D.L. bridge kennel knows color breeding well. By the way, I am very surprised to hear that the owner of Czech Republic imported chocolate and cream color dachshund from Japan. Yukiko might be very surprised as well as me, too. To make dog's quality better, did the owner import chocolate and cream color dachshund from Japan? ~Noriko

Heil Rollen, for me it is strange that in Japan there is so many cream dogs. Because I cant find cream color in standart FCI for dachshunds, so for my opinion and DTK cream dachshunds shouldn't be show and breeding in FCI system

Hi Calpus, Such unusual color dachshunds are imported from the United States to Japan. These color dogs are not exhibited in the dog show. Japan Kennel Club(FCI) makes these colors a serious fault. JKC warns dogs of the unusual color to breed. The mark"~" is written in a pedigree of color not recognized officially dachshund. Because there was a problem about dachshund of the unusual color in Japan before. Puppy mills imports these color dachshunds, and it breeds a lot. There are really colorful dachshunds. Dachshunds of the unusual color are suitable for the moneymaking. I know there is case where dachshunds of the unusual color has the skin disorder and the visceral disease. Noriko

I have a comment about the Blue smooth female in the pictures above . This pregnant dog looks to be in very bad shape and also looks like she may have some back problems and she should not be used for breeding. Joyce Warren

Joyce Warren Hi, The picture of the female in question, which happens to be an isabella and tan and not a blue and tan just had a litter of 7 puppies when I took that picture. The position of the photo makes her look like she may have back problems. Furthermore she is not pregnant. She just had whelped her litter. I am not a puppymill, breed dilute to dilute, nor do I over breed. My dogs get vet checked anually.
